Lidl Lithuania wanted to create something extraordinary for the most beautiful celebration of spring—Mother’s Day. We didn’t have to look for collaborators for a long time because when we think of unique creative solutions, the name of fashion designer Robertas Kalinkinas comes to mind first. This is how the first floral bouquet designed by a Lithuanian fashion house and a retail chain was born.

Solution

Robertas Kalinkinas has an exceptional sense of aesthetics and originality, and he always gives flowers to his loved ones without waiting for special occasions. This combination of Robert’s qualities made him the perfect choice for creating a unique bouquet.

Robert chose simplicity in his floral arrangements and wanted to convey a sense of naturalness, which is why he looked for the widest variety of blossoms possible. “You won’t find artificial decorations in the bouquet because I wanted to focus on the flowers. I wanted to convey the freedom and natural beauty of nature because each plant is so unique,” says Robertas, presenting the bouquet.

In addition to the flowers, Robertas also carefully selected the other composition details, such as the paper and ribbon, which brought out the best qualities of the blossoms even more.

Result

On Mother’s Day weekend, Lidl stores in Lithuania were drowned in a sea of blossoms selected by Robert Kalinkin. Although the floral arrangement was created by a designer, Lidl kept its promise of value for money, so many shoppers were able to delight their mothers with an original bouquet.
